Training and Certification Program
The Suffolk County Legislature amended the Suffolk County Septic Code and the Licensing Law in an effort to further protect public health and water quality for septic companies applying for or renewing their license after June 23, 2016. The Long Island Liquid Waste Association modified our Certification Program in order to meet these new requirements.

The LILWA Certification program has been approved by Suffolk County to fulfill the qualifications for endorsements 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 9. ​​​​
Now Online & On-Demand
Our online platform allows participants to take this 8-hour training course from the comfort of their home or office (or wherever you can grab some quiet time) and at whatever time works for you. This self-directed program allows participants to begin and complete the training at your own pace. Once started, participants have 30 days to finish the program.​
